Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

"poor in spirit" means to humility
Humility means I realize that I am creature and God is the creator, so I place my full trust in God.

Inherit the land refers to the kingdom of heaven. Meek means humble and this can connect that He is speaking to a group of people.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteous for they will be satisfied.

Righteous means a strong desire or longing to seek and to follow forgive will.

Clean of heart means having sincere, good intentions toward others.
