Typhon was created as a last chance to defeat the gods

Typhon managed to defeat Zeus in the first battle but then Zeus overpowered him and cast him into Tartarus.

Different stories tell different things so typhon either went to Tartarus or was buried under a mountain.

Typhoeus was so big that his head was said to touch the heavens. He appeared man shaped down to the legs with two killer snakes in place of legs.on his hands instead of fingers were a hundred snake heads, 50 per hand. He had wings, dirty hair and beard, sharp ears, and eyes of fire.
