DRAMA!

• The actors were mostly boys, played parts as women also.
• They wore mask and colorful costumes.
• Tragedy and comedy were the two forms of drama.

• It was meant for festivals.
• Mask was to portray their character.
• Drama was written designed for actors to perform.

TRAGEDY AND COMEDY.

• A king was an important character of a series of drama called tragedy.
• Love, war, and hate was a common tragedy.
• Comedy is more funny like.

• One of Pericles plays "the birds" makes fun of people of get power.
• He declares king of the universe!!

ARCHIECTURE!

• Temples, theaters, meeting places, and wealthy citizen homes were designed by Greek arcitects.
• They would create beautiful buildings.

• The Parthenon was designed to portray Athens scene.
• There were 3 columns. Ionic, Doric, Corinthian.

• There were many sculptures that were the gods.
• They were placed in temples. They were built to honor the gods.

• Athena the the most famous statues created.
• When it was finished it was more then 30 feet tall!!
