CARDIAC SURGEON

Defined as a surgeon who specializes in the surgical field that is dedicated to treating heart conditions.

Most of them work in hospitals or medical centers. Sometimes even their own businesses for their specific practice.

For a career outlook:
The U.S. Bureau of Statistics(BLS) states that cardiac surgeons will grow over time and jobs for physicians and surgeons will increase 18% by 2022.

Cont. Career Outlook:
The BLS also reports a survey from the Medical Group Management Association stated that the median annual salary for physicians and surgeons as $367,885 in 2012.

Education for a cardiac surgeon is known to be the longest in the medical field.
