  • How does our prior learning experiences and environment impact our faith?

HOW DO WE WALK IN FAITH?

  • Intimate relationship with Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.
  • Trusting in Jesus's abilty to perform and deliver as promised.
  • Personal choice to believe.(challenge prior experiences and belief to the contrary)
  • Exhibiting stubborn faith even in adversity.
  • Surround yourself with people of strong faith.

HOW DO WE WALK IN FAITH CONT'D

  • Retrieval Practice - Revisit scriptures and testimonies that build your faith.
  • An article in the Oxford Learning Center Inc. (2018) mentioned the forgetting curve and how much knowledge is lost over time when our brains are not engaged in any effort to remember it. It further states that material must be revisited and reviewed for retention.
