Second Day of School

Good Morning!

  • Place your backpack in your bin.
  • Begin working on the papers at your desk at a level 0.

Today's Schedule

  • 8:30 End breakfast
  • 9:20 Restroom
  • 10:20 Line up for recess/lunch
  • 11:10 Restroom
  • 11:20 Specials
  • 12:50 Pre-testing in classworks lab
  • 1:50 Class Switching Drill
  • 3:00 begin preparing for dismissal

Behavior Expectations and Pride Points

  • A few things I noticed from yesterday- You will stay seated in your desk unless you have permission to get up.

  • Yesterday, we did a great job in the hallway!
  • Our voice levels need improvement, and BLURTING will not be tolerated.

Habit 1

  • Be Proactive
  • Proactive: the ability to identify and prevent problems
  • Reactive: reacting to the past instead of anticipating the future

Habit One Continued

  • I will read over the situations on the paper with you.
  • Then, you will cut out the boxes and complete the proactive versus reactive hand out.

7 Habits Review

  • Repeat the 7 habits after me.
  • "A Great Leader" Chart paper activity.

Science Tools

  • We will be learning about different science tools today.
  • Pay close attention to the examples so you can complete the activity afterwards.
