PRESENTATION OUTLINE
1.
THE BREAKFAST TEST
BY:KIRSTEN SANDOVAL AND CODIE AKERS 5/28/15
2.
PURPOSE
IF WE EAT MORE BREAKFAST THEN WE'LL FEEL MORE ENERGIZED AND FOCUSED
3.
APPERATUS
THIS WAS ALL THE DIFFERENT BREAKFAST FOOD WE ATE.
4.
PROCEDURE
Everyday we eat breakfast.
We eat nothing the first day.
We eat a whole breakfast on the sixth day, the last day.
After every breakfast we try and focus on tasks at hand and see how we cope with them and if it's difficult to focus on them.
Everyday we rank how we feel on a scale of 1-10, 1 being the worst we felt and 10 being the best.
5.
KIRSTEN'S DATA
6.
CODIE'S DATA
7.
The independent variable would've been the breakfast food while the dependent variable would've been our energy and focus.
8.
ANALYIS
For both of us it was clear that the more food we ate the better we felt throughout the day.
We both had similar numbers 1 being the worst we could feel and 10 being the best.
The independent variable did effect the dependent variable because the amount of food we ate each day effected how we worked throughout the day.
9.
CONCLUSION
IF WE EAT MORE BREAKFAST THEN WE'LL FEEL MORE ENERGIZED AND FOCUSED
THE HYPOTHESIS PROVED TO BE CORRECT BECAUSE THE MORE FOOD WE ATE DAILY FOR BREAKFAST THE BETTER WE FEEL
10.
ERRORS
WE COULD'VE EATEN DIFFERENT TYPES OF THE SAME FOOD (there are more than one type of muffin)
WE COULD'VE EATEN DIFFERENT AMOUNTS OF FOOD EACH DAY.
WE MIGHT'VE NOT TESTED IT LONG ENOUGH.
