  • Christians viewed these sacrifices as denying God
  • Felicity and Perpetua faced this problem and were both pregnant
  • When Perpetua was 22, her father pressured her to follow this
  • She disobeyed her father to continue her beliefs

  • On March 7, 202, Felicity and Perpetua were sent to prison
  • March 7 is when we celebrate St.Felicity and St.Perpetua

  • It is said that she was rich and had seven sons
  • She also converted hundreds of Christians
  • Pagan priests were furious and ordered for her killing
  • She was brought before Publuis and was threatened

  • St.Felicity and Perpetua are patrons of barren women
  • They are an example to women struggling in life

  • Saints Perpetua and Felicity, watch over all mothers and children who are separated
  • from each other because of war or persecution. Show a special care to mothers who
  • are imprisoned and guide them to follow your example of faith and courage. Amen
