Vertical angles are opposite angles formed by the intersection of two lines. Vertical angles are congruent.

Adjacent Angles are angles that have the same vertex , share a common side, and do not overlap.

Complementary Angles are 2 angles that are complementary if the sum of their angles is 90 degrees.

Supplementary angles are 2 angles that have their measures of 180 degrees.

Corresponding angles are angles in the same position on parallel line in relation to a transversal.

A transversal is the third line formed when two parallel lines are intersected.

An acute triangle is a triangle having three acute angles.

A right triangle is a triangle having one right angle.

An obtuse triangle is a triangle having one obtuse angle.

A scalene triangle is a triangle having no congruent sides.
