The genre is also relevant when talking about font as the font needs to somewhat blend with the genre. The sizing is also really important. The title needs to be the biggest text on screen. The the album name. The font on the back should also be the same as the others and the font on the spine should be meduim sized.
Do not use effects that you do not need. in regards to genre make sure the effects that you choose are in relation or in thought of the genre. The text and the image should also suit the genre. DON'T GO MAD IN PHOTOSHOP! and make sure everything is relevant.

Make sure the images that you use are a clear resolution and they are in focus. You also must make sure they are in an appropriate shot size for the size of your panel and that generically they are appropriate.
Don't be silly and place the text right on top of the artists face. We won't be able to see them. Make sure you take a photo that enables your placement of text in the first place. Or find a way to fit it!!!
You don't need to have photos on every panel. Make sure you have done your research carefully and follow the conventions of the genre you have choosen closely. TOO many photos will lose you marks. Don't just do this to fill up space.
Only use a maximum of three colours. These colours need to fit and work well together and fit the genre. The colours also need to fit the photos that you have taken. Don't overwhelm your audience with a rainbow of colours although it may look pretty it is quite confusing!
