WHAT IS HAPPENING
- Miami Air International 293 A Boeing 737-81Q heading from Guantanamo Military Station in Cuba to Jacksonville Naval Base in USA Slid off Runway 10 during severe thunderstorms and ended up in the St. John’s River.

- Shortly before the landing ATC recommended that they switch from Runway 28 to runway 10.
- Runway 10 was the shorter end of the runway because of landing gear from another plane

- Of the 7 crew and 136 passengers 0 died and 7 were injured.
