Student-Centered Coaching

Essential Questions

  • How can we calibrate coaching across our community?
  • What are some ways that we can take our coaching cycles further?

We close the gap between what the students know and what they need to know.

The Big Idea

  • Coaching is not about 'fixing people'
  • Coaching is a partnership
  • Coaching is about student learning

Language for Goal-Setting

  • What do you hope the students will learn as a result of our partnership?

  • What is your next unit of study? Can we focus there?
