How can we connect this passage to materialism?

It's a heart issue

  • Having a worldly/ungrateful perspective will most-likely lead you to ruin and seperation from God.
  • But having a Christ-centered perspective brings righteousness and hope for the future
Mark 10:23-25, Ecclesiastes 2:10-11, James 5:1-6, Ecclesiastes 5:10

1Timothy 6:17-19, Proverbs 11:4, Luke 6:38

"All that is not of eternal use, is eternally useless"
-C.S. Lewis

Are you Materialistic, ask these questions:

  • Do I find contentment in the things I already have or do I long for more?
  • Are my dreams for the future about things or people?
  • Could I give up all my material possessions?
