Facts One fact I found from my book is that the most recent supernova in our galaxy is called Cassiopeia, a type 2 supernova. Another fact is that astronomers believe that galaxies are growing far apart but they can't seem to figure out why the galaxies moved apart. A third fact is that if you tried to count the stars in the sky without taking a break it would take you more than one thousand years to count one hundred billion stars, counting three stars per second. A fourth fact is that an astronomer named Alex says that if it weren't for supernovas we wouldn't be alive because the carbon in our cells, the oxygen that we breath, the calcium in our bones were all developed in the stars which were all pushed into our earth's atmosphere by big explosions.
Facts A fifth fact is that the heat and pressure in stars ignite simple atoms which create more larger and complex atoms. A sixth fact is that scientists have found three supergiants that are stars bigger than our sun. A seventh fact is that you can see a part of our Milky Way Galaxy from earth, the part of the galaxy we live in is called the Orion Spur.
Facts An eighth fact is that a star-sized black hole is developed when a star's life ends. A ninth fact is a gigantic star named Eta Carinae is about to explode and become a supernova. My last fact is that humans don't know that you have two radiation detectors located in your body so you receive a narrow band of visible light.
Questions for the Author One question is how the author got all this information about the universe? Another question for the author is if he had a relationship with Alex?
