Only six players on the court per team
If the ball hits the ground on your side of the court the other team gets a point
You can only hit the ball three or less times when the ball is on your side of the court then the other team can hit the ball three or less times ext. If you hit it four or more times then the other team gets a point.
When you serve you can not pass the serving line and only can serve after you hear the whistle blown by the referee.
When the ball comes to your side you can only hit the ball once till another player has touched the ball. After another has touched the ball then you can hit again.
Usually the formation for hitting the ball is bump, set, and spike but in some cases this routine will not work. Example/ your team mate might hit the ball to low so you can't set the ball.
1. Get the hand you write with into a fist with the thumb out.
2. Put the other hand on top of the fist lining up the figures.
Note/ make sure the fingers are beside of each other not on top of each other.
3. Stay low with one foot just a little bit more in front of the other and keep your hands open.
Get low facing the target. Spread fingers in the shape of the ball above your head. Form a triangle with thumbs and pointer finger and note that your hands should not be touching. Place your hands directly in front of your face close to the forehead.
Stand up tall with your feet hip-width apart and your spine straight. Maintain eye contact with the ball the entire time. Once the volley comes from your opponents' side of the court, follow the ball with your eyes as it travels to your side of the net. Shift your position to anticipate where the volleyball will cross the net. Step your right foot in front of your left foot to prepare for a jump.
Swing your right arm around or left arm if you are a left handed hitter quickly and make contact with the volleyball with a flat palm. Hit the volleyball forcefully with the lower inner corner of your palm, right between the thumb and pointer finger. Smack the ball over the net and toward the ground.
4. Stay low the whole time even if you're hitting the ball and keep arms straight in front of you but don't get your arm in a bumping formation until you are definitely sure you are going to bump it.
Once the ball is in hitting distance, bend your knees and powerfully jump in the air as high as you can. Swing your right arm around or left arm if you are a left-handed hitter quickly and make contact with the volleyball with a flat palm.
