  • Research teams such as those at McGill (Gabriella Coleman) and the recent report, "Hacktivism and the Government of British Colombia," from UVic
  • Monitor trends within hacktivism

  • Gov. must identify issues in BC that may attract hacktivists
  • Implement laws encouraging the "liberty of the internet"
