BOSTON BOMBING

SEQUENCE OF EVENTS

• First bomb goes off (near finish line)
• Second bomb goes off 13 seconds later 210 yards away from the first bomb
• 3 people dead, 1 eight year old boy and two adults.
• Over 260 severely injured.

SUSPECTS

• At first the FBI had a total of 100 possible suspects
• Narrowed down to 2 suspects, Dzhokhar(right) and Tamerlan(left) Tsarnaev

PUBLICITY

• FBI released photos and videos of the two suspects
• Told people to call immediately if they had and information

A MANHUNT

• FBI goes on a manhunt for the two suspects.
• Finds them, a shootout breaks out.
• Tamerlan is shot, and dies
• Dzhokhar is severely injured but lives
• Dzhokhar runs away into hiding

A MANHUNT

• Dzhokhar is found in a mans backyard in his boat
• He is captured

RESULTS

• Goes through many court trials, is sentenced to prison for life
• Is up for possible death trial
