JOSE NAVARROW WAS IMPORTANT WHEN IT CAME TO THE REPUBLIC OF TEXAS

  • Tejanos in the republic were often mistreated: most of the Tejanos were laborers that owned no land and worked for no pay, they also faced discrimination and had most of there land and livestock stolen.
  • That's why Jose Navarro fought for Tejano rights.
