WHAT IS CPR

  • CPR stands for "cardio pulmonary resuscitation"
  • CPR is what you do when some one stops breathing
  • Anyone is able to do it
  • It's like riding a bike, once you learn it, you can't really forget it

HANDS ONLY CPR

  • Check if the area is safe
  • Call or tell someone to call 911 and AED
  • Start CPR compressions
  • Continue compressions until 911 arrives
  • Depths adult:2 in. Child:1 in. Infant:1/2 in.

MOUTH TO MOUTH CPR..ADULT

  • Check if area is safe
  • Call or tell someone to call 911
  • Get or tell someone to get an AED
  • Start compressions and resuscitate, then attach AED and turn it on and follow instructions
  • Then continue CPR at a depth of 2 inches, until help arrives

CHILD CPR

  • Check if the area is safe
  • Check the person is or is not breathing
  • Call or tell someone to call 911 and get an AED
  • Put 1 or 2 hands on the sternum, depending if you need extra strength.
  • At the depth of 1 inches

  • Check if the area is safe
  • Check if the baby is or is not breathing
  • Call or tell some one to call 911, and get an AED
  • Take your two fingers and put it in the middle of the sternum and do 30:2
  • At the depth of 1/2 inch

  • You do this intermediate with CPR of adult,child,baby
  • You call or tell someone to get an AED and call 911
  • Turn on AED and follow instructions
