• The basket used the native material to weave, include sedge rhizomes and willow sticks.
• The coil itself is about 89 feet long (the length of 6 cars) and if the sedge weaving strands were layered end to end,they would stretch the length of 4 and a half foot ball fields.
• The basket contains nearly 20,000 stitches.

• For example,when people live in the coastal raincores,they made it for fishing.When people live in central valley and foothills,they made it to store things and cooking.

• For example,Chinese wok,a metal pan shaped like a large bowl,used for cooking Chinese food.Basket and wok both are traditional life tools.They are a concentation of materal,energy and intelligence.
