Andrew Jackson Overview
Andrew Jackson had left a legacy for people to remember him by. He was the 7th president, a war hero, and an over controlling leader. Andrew Jackson was the first president to have grown up with a rough past. Both his parents had died early on in his life and then his brothers met their fatality during the Revolutionary war. Being an orphan he decided to start an early career in the Military at the age of 13.

Later in life he had become a war hero because of his accomplishments during the fight in New Orleans. He ran for president twice winning the second time making himself the seventh president of the United States. During his presidency he had ran into controversies when forcing the Indians to move from their homelands. He became known as an over controlling president. After his presidency he was still very much involved with the public.

War Hero

Andrew Jackson had started his Military career at the young age of 13 which explains how he became a war hero at such an early age. He was a leader during the battle of New Orleans which led to his fame. This also helped him win as president because people trusted him.

Andrew Jackson's marriage

Andrew Jackson's marriage to Rachel Jackson was a complicated and controversial topic. Because she ran away from her ex, Lewis Robert, Jackson believed that her death was due to political enemies. People had also believed their marriage was wrong because she was a runaway wife. Her death devastated Jackson because he deeply loved Rachel and had already been through so much loss.
