Barrister Zafarullah Khan of Watan Party Filled a petition at the Lahore registry of the apex court pleading that the establishment of the military court is against the basic spirit of Constitution .

LEAs ARRESTS 10 SUSPECT IN MANHUNT

LAHORE
Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) claimed on Thursday to have arrested 10 suspects in a joint combining operation in various parts of city .
The operation was launched after a suicide blast on census team on Bedian Road in which seven people , including four soldiers were killed and 18 others injured .

During the combing operations in Mianwali police arrested 123 hardened criminals in the ongoing week .
Police combed mountains and busted 43 A category criminals , of them one carried head money . He said the police had busted two gangs of daciots and seized from them Rs 74,680 ,mobile phones and illegal arms . Up to 62 cases were registered against marcotic sellers .

UZAIR BALOCH TAKEN INTO MILITARY CUSTODY

Wednesday morning officials claimed to have taken him into custody
The Pakistan Army on Wednesday morning said it has taken Uzair Baloch , a notorious leader of lyari gang war , into custody in accordance with the Pakistan Army Act .
Uzair was arrested by Ranger personnel outside Karachi last year in January . The court had handed him over to police on remand .
Around 35 cases pertaining to murder , attempted murder and attacking police has been registered against him .

SHC EXTENDED REMOVAL OF IGP

SHC ordered him to continue his duties till the court reaches
The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Tuesday extended its stay on removal of Inspector General of Police ( IGP) A.D.
Khawaja from his post and ordered the IGP to continue his duties till the court reaches a decision in the matter .
After the approval was given by the provincial government , the court had extended its stay and asked for a copy of the decision made by Sindh Cabinet to be provided to it .

A.D KHAWAJA CALLS FOR REVAMPING POLICE SYSTEM

The inspector general of police (IGP) Sindh A.D. khawaja on Wednesday said that the provincial police force operates on regulations laid down in 1861 and that there was an immediate need to improve those .
The sindh police chief said that lawmakers in the provincial government were ''well aware'' of need to revise the regulations . He urged them to follow footsteps of the leaders off other provinces.
The IGP was trying to improve the experience of those who visit police stations to report a crime and revamp thana culture .
