These Olympics were held in Rio de Janeiro.The Olympic medals were very cool.It was interesting watching Olympic sports.It was fun watching American athletes.

Summer Olympic Games started in 1928.In the 18 hundreds the summer Olympics were officially known as the games of the first Olympiad. Thousands of athletes from around the world compete in the summer and Winter Olympics.

In the 2016 summer Olympics, team USA competed in almost all the sports. Team USA has won a total of 2,520 medals and 1,022 of them are gold.
