Why is swimming good?

"People who engage in swimming are healthier and happier than people who live a sedentary lifestyle." (www.livestrong.com).You even gain mental and physical benefits from swimming regularly. Spending time at a pool or a beach with friends and family increases shared memories and better mental health through social interaction.

My swimming coach told me that when he gets stressed from collage he goes swimming because he finds that it really helps and he finds it is relaxing.

Mindfulness😊
"Swimming can be relaxing meditative and exercising and it reduces stress the weightlessness of water can have a calming affect on the mind and it distracts you to improve mindfulness" (bmhmag.com)

Getting exercise😅
Going for a run or going to the gym is great but to me going for a run/jog is a lot of work so swimming is a lot more easier than running because in swimming you could be reducing mental health and you wouldn't even know it. So basically I would recommend people do the sport they enjoy he most.
