  • Largest part of the brain
  • Controls touch, vision, speech, emotions, reasoning, learning and movement

GRAY MATTER IS...

  • The outer layer of the cerebrum
  • It’s composed of cell bodies

WHITE MATTER

  • White matter is tissue that’s under gray matter
  • It is made up of axons

CORPUS CALLOSUM

  • Made up of axons running crosswise between the two halves of the brain
  • It does this to exchange information
