WHAT’S ITS HABITAT

  • The biggest biome in the world.
  • Covers 70% of the world.
  • The marine biome is very salty.
  • The marine biome is 36,200 feet deep.
  • The water is VERY COLD.

WHAT IT EATS

  • Moray eels eat: fish, octopus, squid, cuttle fish, crabs, mollusks.
  • I think the reason they eat the following animals is because they like meat.

HOW IT ADAPTS TO IT’S ENVIRONMENT

  • Their camouflaged colouring helps them blend in with their surroundings and ambush prey.
  • They use there camouflaged skin only in certain places like coral reefs, because their skin looks more like coral.

MARINE BIOME

  • The climate of the Marine biome is mostly varied.
  • Since it is the largest biome in the world the climate varies from -40 degrees Fahrenheit, but it is warmer near the equator where the direct rays of sun can pierce the water and warm it.
  • The coldest is in the north and south poles where the water is close to freezing if not frozen (glaciers).

PLANTS THAT LIVE HERE

  • Algae, Phytoplankton, Seaweed, Crambe, Martima, Seagrasses, coral reefs, marsh grasses, Sea anemones, Sea cabbage.
  • I do not know what most of these plants are but I know that they live in the marine.

ANIMALS THAT LIVE HERE

  • The animals that live here are Whales, Sea otters, Fish, Mollusks, crustaceans, Eels, octopuses.
  • I think the reason these animals live here is because there prey lives here, maybe.

WHERE IN THE WORLD?

  • LOCATION: It includes five main oceans: the Pacific, Atlantic, Indian, Arctic, and Southern.
  • As well as many smaller Gulf and Bays.
  • I do not know what a gulf is but I think it is something like a dock?
