  • Is renewable and can be stored to use later
  • A form of mechanical energy
  • Moving water to create power

  • Most common type of hydroelectric power
  • Found on reservoirs
  • Water is taken in and spun by turbines to create energy
  • Water is released after it is spun back into other water

DIVERSION

  • When water is already flowing
  • There is no need for a Sam just a turbine
  • This turbine is spun by the Watertown create energy

WATER WHEEL

  • Less efficient than turbines
  • Meant for small groups of people
  • Only produces enough energy to support few people
  • Great option for creating energy for just your house
