Software

  • Is a collection of instructions that enables the user to interact with the computer, the hardware and being able to perform different types of tasks.

System Software

  • This software is a system that contains low-level programs that can interact with other computers at a basic level.

Open Software

  • Open source software is software whose source code is available for modification or enhancement by anyone.

Basic Functions of Utility Software

  • Designed to help you monitor and configure settings for your digital gear, its operation system, or application software. Utilities focus on computer-centric tasks such as blocking viruses or diagnosis hard disk errors, rather than real-world tasks such as document production or accounting. They are included with your device’s operating system.

Which Computer Should I Buy?

  • What makes a computer fast/good is based on various properties, for example the amount of RAM that it has, the video card, the CPU and the amount of storage. A good computer should have an amount of RAM equal to 8 Gb or higher, a CPU processor Intel i5 or higher and internal storage of at least 250gb to as high as 1 Tb. Another feature that in my opinion is really helpful to make the computer fast (which my pc has) is an Solid State Drive, this king of internal storage is way much faster than a hard disk drive, because the solid state drive doesn't work with a disk, it also doesn't need to be fragmented.
