Digichamps: a brief history

• First sponsored by TEL @unisouthampton in 2012
• later adopted by cross-uni institute (Web Science)
• Paid work for all student levels

Practicalities

• recruit students through SCP scheme
• max 20 hours work per week
• £10 per hour
• provides advertising of vacancies and a fair appointment structure
