THEME AND WHAT DOES THE MAIN CHARACTER LEARNED.

When someone is being mean to you, you need to tell an adult and keep calm. Katie learn that when the boy is being mean to her she needed to tell her teacher.

Sometimes wishes can be tricky. When Katie made the wish she didn't mean the wish to happen the way that it happen, so now if she make other wish she would be specific.

When the wishes come true a way that you don't want them to happen, you need to stay calm and try to figure out how can you fix what you did. Katie fix the problem by wishing to other shooting star not being the only one in her class, the next day she goes to her class and everybody is there, in the class. Katie learn that se need to stay calm.

Narrator's point of view

This book is written in third person, I know is third person because the book call the name of the main character or other person by their names it does not use "I".

I can compare Martin Luther King JR. with Katie Kazoo: Katie and Martin both had a problem to solve, and they both solve the problem that they needed to solve.

CONTRASTED

I can contrat Martin Luther King JR. with Katie Kazoo: Martin and Katie don't have the same problems, Martin's problem was that black and white people were not treated the same and it was not fair. Katie's problem was that she made a wish, and that wish came true, but the wish didn't came the way that she meant it to happen. Katie is a child and Martin is older.

Main idea in the nonfiction book

The main idea in my nonfiction book is the speech that Martin Luther did, that speech was called "I have a dream." It was about live in a nation where there will not be judged by the color of the skin. He believe that other people see people by who they are and for the things that they do in their lives.

The character responded to a problem

Katie responded to her problem which was that she wished to be the only one in her class. When she goes to her class and sees that she is the only one in her class, she gets a little bit scared. She is very worried because she doesn't know what to do.

Important quote in the book of Martin Luther

The quote in the book that Martin Luther King JR said was: " I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin. People will see all children for who they are and for the things they do in their lives." Martin Luther said that speech because he wanted all, white and black people be treated by who they are and what they do, not in by the color of their skin.

Compare the book with my real live

Once my dad brought my a bracelet from Brazil. When you put that bracelet on you, you need to make a wish, and once that bracelet falls over long time and you didn't take it off yourself, the wish will come true. My wish was to be a equestriam. I rode horses and one day I fell of the horse and I got scare of horse back riding.

THE END!

I didn't want to ride ever again. I didn't want the bracelet to fall becauseI didn't want my wish to come true. That is like what happen to Katie because when the wish came true a way that she didn't want it to happen so she kind of scare about the wish, like me with my wish.
