According to Wikipedia, binge eating is a pattern of disorderd eating which consists of episodes of uncontrollable eating. During such binges rapidly consumes an excessive amount of food. Most people can sometimes feel ashamed or depressed.

SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS

  • Eats excessive amount of food, eats even while full
  • Inability to stop eating or control what you're eating
  • Feeling stressed or tension that is only relieved by eating
  • Hiding food and bingeing when you're alone
  • Desperation to control weight and eating habits

EFFECTS OF BINGE EATING

  • Increased risk of health issues
  • Weight gain
  • Depression, anxiety, stress
  • Joint and muscle pain
  • Suicidal thoughts

How to we resolve this disorder? The average eating schedule (3 meals and up to 3 snacks a day) is recommended, no matter how your mood is holding up. This simple solution can increase a healthy lifestyle, reduces binge eating and does not cause weight gain.
