The Requirements of Success

One of my friends has had some serious back pain lately.

Each specialist he visits wants to treat his pain with their area of expertise.

The surgeon wants to perform surgery.

The energy healer wants to access more chi.

And the chiropractor is prescribing multiple sessions each week until healing occurs.

Who is right?

I’m not sure, and neither is my friend.

But observing his discomfort caused me to ponder the discomfort I see in my clients and others I encounter in business.

If you try to fix pain without the correct tools, you might be in pain forever.

If you attempt to be successful without the right tools, it might take longer...

...it might take forever, or you just might fail altogether.

I think there are several foundational requirements for success.

Let’s double-check to make sure you have them:

#1. The right equipment.

Try chopping down a tree with a hammer, and you’ll quit long before you succeed.

Make sure you have the right equipment.

Not sure what you need?

Find a coach or mentor for direction.

I talk about how to find a mentor in here, and you can get it for free here.

#2. The right equipment, right facing.

If you have a canoe, and you desire to cross the river, yet the canoe is upside-down, you’re out of luck.

Make sure your equipment is facing the right way.

#3. The right attire.

Success requires you have the right attire.

If you wouldn’t wear it in front of your best clients and customers, don’t wear it.

#4. The right attitude.

Oh, yes, I’ve touched on this a number of times.

Attitude is the one thing you can’t buy, no-one can give you or take from you.

This one is all you, sunshine!
