ITALY IS SHAPED LIKE A BOOT

SCHOOLS IN ITALY

  • In Italy all children must go to elementary school from the time they turn 6 until they are 11
  • Middle school lasts for three years ,until the age of 14
  • Children study math, history and science
  • Most of the time there are 25 students in a class
  • Often, students wear overalls rather than a uniform

MONEY IN ITALY

  • The lira was used untill 2002
  • Now Italians use euros

FAMILIES IN ITALY

  • The average household has 1.4 children
  • They like to go to soccer games and operas
  • Children also like to spend time with their family

HOUSING IN ITALY

  • Most kids stay with their parents until they turn 30
  • Italians tend to like apartments in the city

In Italy, people eat pasta.
MOST ITALIANS EAT OVER 60 POUNDS OF PASTA A YEAR! Examples of pasta shapes are: fettuccine, bow tie, angel hair and spaghetti.

  • In Ireland all Children Must Go To School At Age 4 Or 5
  • Primary school lasts 7 years
  • Postprimary is for pupils 12 to18
  • They study language, math, social, environment and science
  • Some schools require uniforms, others don't

  • Irish people use Euros, too
  • They started using Euros in 2002
  • Their old money had a harp on it
  • The old money is the pound and shillings
