AFUE - ANNUAL FUEL USSAGE EFFICENCY

• AFUE IS A THERMAL EFFICIENCY MEASUREMENT OF COMBUSTION EQUIPMENT ESTABLISHED IN 1978
• AFUE WAS FOUNDED BY ASHRAE AS A WAY TO CALCULATE THE EFFICIENCY IN MODERN DAY BOILERS

LOW MASS BOILERS

• Lower cost, higher efficency, space saving
• Comes up to temperature quicker due to less water use
• Avoids heat loss maintaining boiler temp, but not heating the designed space
• Cost more but can include more equipment like auto controls

COMBINATION BOILERS

• Eliminates the need for separate water heater
• Both high - efficiency water heater and central heating boiler combined within one
• Compact and up to 1/4 the size of traditional
• Saves on hot water cost and the fact that the hot water is delivered straight to water taps

SET BACK THERMOSTATS AND L.E.D LIGHTS

• Led lights on the control board allow technician to zero in on the main problem
• Set back thermostats can be set once and left alone
• T-stat will allow for normal operation to be run without manual switching.
