PRESENTATION OUTLINE
The Holocaust was the mass murdering of mostly the Jewish race
The Nazis saw Jews as being "inferior" and unworthy to live, so they came up with their final solution.
The first part of the plan was to crowd many Jews in ghetto, which was small compared to the size of the population living there.
From here they would send the Jews off on cattle cars to concentration camps. Most of the women and children would never make it into the camp.
Most of the men would be sent to blocks where they would sleep. They blocks were a breeding ground for disease with 5-8 men per bunk.
After they were settled, they were quickly sent to work. This work would usually have to work long hours on tough labor.
These terrible acts came to an end on May 9, 1945 when Allied forces came in and freed all of the prisoners
After Texas became a state, they had border issues. Mexico said the border was the Nueces River while Texas said it was the Rio Grande.
The US Calvary was sent down to Texas to help with the issues. The decided to go past the Rio Grande even though Mexico told them to retreat to the Nueces
This dispute with the US Calvary started a fight, which would lead to a one year war.
After the US won the war, America and Mexico signed the Treaty of Hidalgo-Guadalupe. This treaty set the Texas border at the Rio Grande and that the US could buy a big chunk of Mexico for $15 million.
North and South Korea have a big dispute on the type of government that they have, with South Korea having a democracy and North Korea having a dictatorship. Since these countries have very different governments this has sparked many scuffles that have almost led to war
On September 11, 2001 19 terrorists hijacked 4 planes in order to carry out an attack on the US
2 of the 4 planes went to the World Trade Center which caused them both to collapse. This caused 2,753 deaths out of 2,977 which then sparked the war in Iraq
