HOW COULD THEY BE USED

  • They are already use for just about everything
  • Oil is used in toothpaste
  • Oils is also in your shoes
  • They make medicines, cosmetics, and plastics
  • Sunglasses, tires, tennis balls, and tvs are made by oil and gas

WHAT ARE THEYRE CURRENT USE

  • They are used in your cars
  • Or even on a plane or boat or a train
  • When you cook on a grill you are using natural gas
  • They power your house.
  • They are our main source of power

WHAT EFFECT DOES IT HAVE

  • It pollutes the air
  • Nuclear power produces nuclear waste
  • Oil can spill and really hurt the environment
  • Uranium is radioactive and you have to be careful
  • Fossil fuels are the leading cause of global warming

IS THIS TECHNOLOGY WIDELY ACCEPTED TODAY

  • No not really
  • A lot of scientist are working to find better sources
  • They are either improving the current technology
  • Or finding better technology

POSITIVES AND NEGATIVES

  • One positive is that it is cheaper to produce
  • Also we already have a lot of it
  • A negative is that it pollutes the earth
  • Also we have a limited amount of it
