PRESENTATION OUTLINE

US AMONG THE STARS

BY:CHRISTIAN BENTS

There are seven billion people on Earth. All of us at some point in our life gaze up at the galaxy and wonder is their anyone out their and if we will ever live there.

But what most people don't now is that we were made up there in space.

Stars are born in what is called a Nebula. A Nebula is a gas cloud, with flying atoms hitting each other and making new stars.

.A nebula is a result of were a star collapsed on its self and its atoms went flying everywhere.

When a star is fully developed it has sucked up all the gas in the Nebula and is now fusing its own atoms together.

It will leave the Nebula so other stars can be born. But some stars never leave the Nebula.

A star is supported by fusion and gravity. A star lives on fusion. A star fuses hydrogen atoms together to make helium atoms.

When a star can't fuse Hydrogen atoms it fuses Helium atoms to make Carbon atoms.

In this stage the star is no longer a main sequence star it is a giant. When a star can't fuse Helium atoms together it turns into a Nova.

When it can't fuse anymore the core will collapse on its self and become a white dwarf.

As for the outer shell it will become a Nebula and make new stars.
You may be thinking how does this have to do with us.

We as humans and life are made out of atoms. When a star dies that means there is more life in the Universe.
