RELATION TO HAITIAN REVOLUTION

  • Step 1- Slaves/ Farmers wanted freedom the most, were the ones mostly stripped of rights
  • Step 2- Toussaint L'ouverture started to help Haitians who felt mad and wanted to revolt, started to act.
  • Step 3- Rights are slowly being gained by Haitians, fighting continues to happen
  • Final step- Many years of fighting is required until the slaves fully revolt, had to face a 2nd wave of civil wars, finally gained independence.
