This hyperbole states that if you laugh and are happy the whole world will be happy which is a bit of an exaggeration.

''Sing and the hills will answer''

This exert from the poem gives human like qualities to the hills saying that the hills will talk and answer you when you sing but hills can not talk or answer when you sing to them.

''The sad old earth must borrow its mirth''

In the poem the poet says''The sad old earth must borrow its mirth'' which uses earth and mirth which have the same consonance sound which makes it an assonance.

end rhyme

''Fast and the world goes by (other line) But no man can help you die'' 

In this part of the poem the poet has two lines that end in "by'' and "die" with one line in between them which makes it an end rhyme.
