  • Murdered all highly educated people
  • Destroyed all places of learning
  • Destroyed monuments to Poland's heritage
  • Undereducated polish children
  • Murdered Roman Catholic clergymen

CHILDREN AND RELOCATION

  • Poles were moved to German territory
  • The strong were put in forced labor
  • Children and elderly put in concentration camps
  • Children were racially screened; then adopted or killed

  • One of the largest underground movements in Europe
  • Polish government never surrendered; based in London
  • A small army formed, attacked, and was defeated
