This park is just a FEW MINUTES' WALK from our house

over the past 15 years

We investigated the critters in this pond many times

The pond now looks like this

On one hand, I'm pleased more people are using the park

6.

And that there is an intepretive Center

 Which provides access for all
7.

I like the many thoughtful features,

such as this bridge conserved from an old sawmill
8.

And the addition of this bridge to the ever-expanding network of

bicycle paths
9.

no future generations will see nature in this park as my sons did

But I also mourn
10.

some of them will still investigate the pond

as my son did recently
11.

But the essence

will never quite be the same
