• Jesus wanted to be alone with his disciples
• However news spread where they were headed
• Crowd gathered and waited for him and his disciples.

COMPASSION

• Scripture says Jesus was moved with compassion
• (Matthew 14:14)- shows Jesus' heart for people
• Compassion- a feeling of wanting to help someone who
• Is sick, hungry, in trouble etc. (merriam websters)

• This story shows Jesus' humanity
• Along with his willingness to serve no matter the
• Circumstance... Matt 14:16, Jesus tells disciples to feed them
• Showing them hiwnthey should care for people and use
• Their faith to provide the food for the people.

FEED ME

• Jesus then blessed the food
• (5 loaves 2 fish) to show Gods power
• And to give him Glory.
• Enough food for 5,000
• And women and children

FOOOOD

• 12 baskets were filled
• With leftovers (eph 3:20)
