Axis of Symmetry

the top of the parabola, which is the x value

Quadratic Equation

a form to find the vertex and to see where your parabola intersects

Standard Form of Quadratic

an expanded form that helps you find you a, b, and c term

Vertex Form of Quadratic

to find the point on the top of your parabola

Zero product Property

states that if ab = 0, then either a = 0 or b = 0 (

Zeros of Functions

Functions that intersect with the the x axis at 0 more than once

Factoring

breaking up a number in to smaller parts

Difference of Squares

when you factor two numbers breaking them into smaller portions

Quadratic Formula

helps find the vertex and the intersection in the x axis

Discriminant

Imaginary Number

the imaginary number replaces the one in an equation

Complex Number

is a number that can be expressed in the form a + bi
