• His goal was to find the 7 Cities of Cibola.
• He also wanted to turn more natives into Christianity.

TRAVELS IN THE NEW WORLD

• Him and his slave who was the first african to explore noth america
• His slave would talk to the natives to see if they would lead them to the 7 cities of cibola
• Claimed to have seen the 7 cities of cibola
• Went back to new spain to show corrtess the 7 cities
• Corrtess along the way killed many aztecs as they went up through Mexico.

Some explorers wouldn't have come because he said he saw one of the 7 Cities of Cibola. He also converted many people to Christianity, which is a factor in how many people are Christian today.
