  • a traditional Japanese poem
  • usually about nature
  • made up of three lines
  • 1st line has 5 syllables
  • 2nd line has 7 syllables
  • 3rd line has 5 syllables

Write a Haiku!

  • See what goes together
  • First line use 5 syllables
  • Second line - 7 syllables
  • Third line use 5 syllables
