  • The origin of the myth is Greek

CHARATER

  • The myths of Apollo describe him as the God of Truth,
  • The Healer, who taught men the art of healing, God of Music
  • Who played beautiful music in Olympus with his golden lyre, leader of the Muses.

THE PLOT

  • Python was once sent out by Hera, the wife of Zeus, in order to chase pregnant Leto, a loved of Zeus
  • so that she couldn't settle anywhere to give birth
  • Apollo threw and arrow to Python, piercing him right on its forehead.
  • The death of Python filled Apollo with joy

  • The heroes in this myth show the virtues of courage, love, loyalty, strength, perseverance, leadership and self reliance.
  • The myth was inspired to entertain, thrill, and inspire young readers
