Instructional Lesson Plans

The Instructional Program that Cobb County Schools has purchased includes class sets of Rubik's Cubes and Instructional CDs with 9 detailed lesson plans, including Power Points, Home Connections, Differentiation, and Extension activities. It also includes integration of Common Core Math Standards for each lesson for all grade levels K-8. These lesson plans will guide students to solve the Cube by completion of Lesson 8. Lesson 9 is an overview of the Program.

The official Rubik's Cube website is filled with resources for kids, teachers, and others interested in the Cube. It has steps to solve, games, experiments with the Cube, Mosaic Creation activities using the Cube, and even a few videos. Excellent resource!
