DAY 1

  • Traveling to Europe.
  • Leaving from St.Louis and going to Eruope.
  • American Ariline.
  • It cost $1306.49

DAY 2

  • Big Ben is 151 years old.
  • It's 316 feet tall
  • Palace of Westminster destroyed by a fire in 1834.
  • 1844, the House of Parliament decided should include
  • A tower and a clock.

DAY 2 CONTINUED

  • The Palace of Westminster is the meeting place
  • Of the House of the Commons and House of the Lords.
  • Big Ben is on the north side of The Palace of Westminster.
  • The Chunnel is the English nickname for The Channel Tunnel.
  • It's a rail tunnel beneath the English Channel.

DAY 2 CONTINUED

  • The Chunnel is the second longest rail tunnel in the world.
  • It costs $189 for us to travel on the Chunnel.
  • It will take us 2 hours and 28 minutes.

DAY 3

  • The Eiffel Tower is 1063 feet tall.
  • The main reason they built it was for the 100 year anniversary

  • It was almost moved to Canada.

  • Death of the Virgin, Cy Twombly's Ceiling,
  • It takes about 4-5 days to see everything.

DAY 4

  • The colosseum is where Christians met their fate.
  • To convey the Glory of Rome.
  • 100,000 prisoners
  • Oval in shape 615 ft long, and 510 ft wide

DAY 5/POLAND

  • Wawel Castle royal castle of Polish kings.
  • Located in Krakow, Poland.
  • located by the Vistula river
  • The Wawel Hill was formed 150 million years ago.
  • The Wawel dragon breathes fire.

DAY 6/ PORTUGAL

  • Sao Jorge is located in Lisbon Portugal.
  • The castle covers 6000 square meters.
  • Name originated from a tribute to Saint George.
  • Classified as a national monument in 1910.
  • Famous for the panoramic views and counrtyside.

DAY 7/SPAIN

  • La Sagrada Familia is located in Barcelona.
  • It reaches 560 feet in the air.
  • Construction began in 1882 still not finished.
  • One tower has a lamb representing Jesus.
  • Should be finished by 2041.

Day 8

  • Travel from Barcelona,Spain
  • to St. Louis airport.
