Laughter everywhere.
I can smell christmas.
Floating in the air
Candy canes and bon bons
Angels top the tree
There's presents over yonder
One for you and me
Tinsel wrapping round and round
Candles light the night
Making santa's journey
Sparky and bright.
A very merry christmas
To your family my friend
May your new year bring happiness
And may the joyful times not end
The poem is all about that christmas day.
The message of the poem is to persuade people to celebrate christmas and new year Happily with your family. And i agree with it.
They have all the sound devices, like alliteration, consonance and assonance. The example of alliteration is candy canes, bon bons and top the tree. While consonance are, candy canes, candles, light, night, santa, merry christmas, friend, tinsel, sparkly, bright, angels and joyful.
While in assonances examples are, distances, smell, tree, presents, bright, round and round,year and friend.
The sound devices affect to the poem by making the words move faster or slower, and sound device tend to help stress certain important points in the poem.
I choose this poem because it like christ
