PRESENTATION OUTLINE
R is for Rumble
At the rumble Dally showed up after he was supposed to be in the hospital for his wounded arm. The Greasers beat the Socs so much that the a Socs ran away from the rumble.
S is for Sandy
Sally had to move to live with her grandparents. This is because she got pregnant and couldn't go to school. Sodapop was very sad because he loved her.
T is for Two-Bit
Everyone couldn't believe when Johnny died. Two-bit tried to hold in the pain even though there was less feeling then what Dally had gone through.
U is for Underdog
At the rumble usually the Socs would have won even though the greasers were tough. Although the Socs would have own, this time the Greasers beat them without using weapons.
V is for Violence
There are multiple fights in this book. The Socs and Greasers are violent with each other because they basically hate each before the tone of the book starts to change.
W is for Weeping
Johnny was getting very weak at the hospital. He died when Dally and Ponyboy visited him. This made Dally want to weep but instead he just ran out of the hospital. He then robbed a grocery store and died from the police shooting him.
X is for X-treme
After the rumble between the Greasers and Socs people had x-treme wounds. There were kicked ribs, black eyes, bloody heads and multiple more.
Y is for Young
The term "Stay Gold" means to stay young and pure. Johnny tells Ponyboy to stay gold in a letter Ponyboy reads after Johnny has died.
Z is for Zoom
When Dally saw Johnny die he couldn't take the pain. He zoomed out of the hospital and no one knew where he had gone until he called.
